Booking mobile detailing means letting someone work at your home for a few hours. That's a fair thing to think twice about, so it's worth knowing who that someone is.
PrimeShine is Greyson. He takes the booking, he turns up, he does the work and he's the one you call if anything isn't right. How It Started
It Started as a Hobby
PrimeShine began in a driveway, on Greyson's own car. Then a friend's. Then a neighbour who'd seen it and asked what he'd charge.
He hadn't set out to start a business. He just liked doing it — the particular satisfaction of handing back a car that was genuinely filthy and watching the owner react. Detailing is one of the few trades where the result is obvious the second you step back from it.
The free jobs turned into paid ones. The equipment got better, the process got sharper, and what had been a weekend habit became the job. The approach didn't change much: take the time, and don't skip the steps nobody will see.
He still pays close attention to the trade — what products actually hold up in Charleston heat and salt air, what the detailers worth watching are doing, what's worth adopting and what's just marketing. Most of it comes back to patience. Anyone can make a car look clean for an afternoon. Doing it properly takes longer, and it lasts.

How PrimeShine Works
PrimeShine is a mobile detailing business based in West Ashley, serving the Charleston area — West Ashley, downtown, Mount Pleasant, James Island, Johns Island, North Charleston, Summerville and Goose Creek.
Everything happens at your home. There's no shop to drop a car at and no courtesy vehicle to arrange — the equipment comes to the driveway instead. All that's needed at your end is an outdoor water spigot, a power outlet and room to work around the car.
Three services, priced openly on this site rather than quoted on the day: a full detail, an interior detail and an exterior detail. If you'd rather not think about it every few months, the monthly plans cover it on a schedule.

- You'll hear back by text — send the form or text the number and you'll get a reply with a time, usually quickly
- He arrives with everything — equipment, products and supplies all come with him
- You don't have to stay — hand over the keys, point out the spigot and outlet, and get on with your day
- It takes as long as it takes — 1–2 hours for an exterior, 3–4 for an interior, 5–6 for a full detail
- Bad weather means rescheduling — you'll get a call ahead of time rather than a rushed job
- If something isn't right, say so — you're telling the owner, not passing a message along
